Our country was founded upon the belief that people are accountable to God for the principles that they stand for and the people that they elevate to higher office. As George Washington said at the 1787 Constitutional Convention, “If to please the people we offer what we ourselves disapprove, how can we afterward defend our work? Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair. The event is in the hand of God.” Those who are members of the Constitution Party will often voice that it’s “Principle over Politics”. For decades, there has been more concern with winning and maintaining power rather than in standing by moral principles. This has resulted in compromise by those people elected to office and to those who are electing them. “A person’s vote is the currency of his virtue.” If you chose to vote for the lesser of two evils (has many of us have done for decades) then we will still get evil. If you are not happy with the course our country and/or our state is taking, we invite you to contact us for more information.
